Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and the rights you can exercise. Last updated: 30 July 2026.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is BOOK TAXI GROUP LLC, 8 The Green, Ste A, Dover, DE 19901, United States ("Book Taxi Group", "we"). For any privacy matter, including exercising your rights, contact us at info@booktaxigroup.com.

2. What data we collect

Booking data — name, email address, phone number, pickup and drop-off addresses, dates and times, flight number, passenger count, luggage and any special requirements you tell us about (for example child seats). Payment data — payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we receive confirmation of payment and a payment reference, but we never store your full card number. Communications — messages you exchange with us by email, contact form or WhatsApp, and post-trip feedback you choose to leave. Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, and analytics data about how our websites are used.

3. Why we process it

We process your data: (a) to perform the contract — managing your booking, dispatching the vehicle, monitoring your flight, notifying you about the service and processing payments and refunds; (b) on the basis of our legitimate interests — quality control of our provider network, fraud prevention, service statistics and defending legal claims; (c) with your consent — sending you booking updates by WhatsApp or SMS when you opt in, and marketing communications, which you can withdraw at any time; and (d) to comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting rules.

4. Who we share it with

We share booking data with the local transport provider performing your service — strictly limited to what the driver needs (name, pickup details, flight number, contact phone). We use carefully selected service providers who process data on our behalf: payment processing (Stripe), mapping and address services, hosting and infrastructure, messaging (WhatsApp Business) and analytics (Google Analytics). If you booked through a distribution partner (for example an online travel agency), we exchange with that partner the data needed to manage your booking. We never sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties unrelated to the performance of your service. Aggregated, non-identifiable statistics may be shared for business purposes.

5. International transfers

We operate globally, so your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States and the country of your travel destination. Where data of European Economic Area or United Kingdom residents is transferred abroad, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent mechanisms.

6. How long we keep it

Booking and invoicing records are retained for as long as required by tax and commercial law. Support communications are kept for as long as reasonably necessary to manage the service and any claims. Marketing preferences are kept until you withdraw consent. Data that is no longer needed is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. To exercise any of these rights, email info@booktaxigroup.com from the address used in your booking. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. California residents have equivalent rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information — as stated above, we do not sell personal information.

8. Security

All traffic to our websites is encrypted (TLS), payment data is handled by a PCI-DSS certified provider, and access to personal data is restricted to personnel and providers who need it to deliver the service. We maintain technical and organisational measures designed to prevent unauthorised access, loss or misuse of your data.

9. Children

Our services are not directed at minors and we do not knowingly allow minors to book on their own behalf. If you become aware that a minor has provided us personal data without the consent of a parent or guardian, contact us and we will delete the corresponding record.

10. Cookies and analytics

Our websites use strictly necessary cookies for the booking process, and analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how the site is used and improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the booking process from working.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. The date of the last revision is shown at the top of this page; material changes will be highlighted on the website.
